If you're looking for some quality Christmas gifts for the women in your life (or for yourself), look no further. Kate Spade New York is a very affordable designer and also quite gift-able. The website has tons of different filters in the "Gift Guide" tab, including price increments starting at "Under $50". I have to say this website is the most user-friendly online store that I've navigated. The brand also offers warranties on everything as well as free returns and exchanges.
Aside from the practical stuff, all of the Kate Spade collections are super cute. My favorite recent collection is Kate Spade New York X Tom & Jerry. This collection was created for the year of the rat and I am so thankful. The handbags are printed like wallpaper and feature Jerry peeking out of his mouse-hole. They're sophisticated but whimsical at the same time. In addition to the handbags, there is an adorable pair of Jerry stud earrings for only $48! I want them now!
If you're looking for something less whimsical, Kate Spade New York also has more simplistic collections, namely, Margaux, Polly, Toujours, and On Purpose. These are all collections with personalities of their own, so that there is a style for everyone. An added bonus, the commercial for the Margaux collection is genius. I was worried, as most of the industry probably was, that the Kate Spade brand would have a downfall after the designer's tragic death. Thankfully, the new CEO, Anna Bakst has been able to keep the brand true to Spade's aesthetic. It is very likely that the brand will continue to grow and flourish in the future thanks to Bakst and the design team.
